In the center of the latest terrible news about Corona-virus, it seems that God is looking upon us as we witness the the Sea of Galilee miracle. First time, in the last 30 years, the Galilee Sea is overflowing with water. Many footage posted on the social media are presenting the Galilee Sea, also called Lake Kinneret in Israel, full of fresh water. For the past 30 years, scientists were concerned for the dangerously low levels of the lake and the probability of severe drought.
It is also speculated that Israel will soon open the dam from the south of the Sea of Galilee. The locals are optimistic about the Sea of Galilee miracle, while the meteorologists foresee more rain showers for the upcoming weeks. (You can read more about this incredible story here).
The water level of Sea of Galilee rose with over 2.4 inches (6 centimetres) on 12th April and more rains are expected in the upcoming period. If the Sea level is expected to rise more, the dams will open to allow the waters to flow into the Jordan River and further into the Dead Sea. However, this is a problem that will be welcomed by the people of Israel who are more accustomed with drought.
